Too much work, not enough time!
Why do I learn things the hard way? I try to take on more than I can handle. I don't NEED to do any more work for Bill. However, I HAVE to because I told him I would! And now I find myself rushed to finish it before its actually ready! I rushed through the sanding and taping, and now have issues with it that I have to go back and repair. When will I learn to not take on more than I can handle?
What do I know about drywall? Nothing! Yet I accepted a drywall job. Accepting it wouldn't be an issue at all, had I at least done a little bit of research on it before starting. Helpful tips like "don't use lumpy mud", or "wet the tape before applying to avoid bubbles", etc. Now I am forced to look back and learn how to FIX things when they could've been avoided!
And then that makes me mad at Bill. He should relax, lay off! When, in reality, I should've had this done by now!
Father, give me strength to complete this job and to complete it well. Give me wisdom to avoid mistakes. Help me to complete the drywall and the rear deck so Bill is able to sell the home in a timely manner. Forgive me for my attitudes. Forgive me for my impatience. Thank you.
